Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have completed a FÁS apprenticeship or equivalent, for entry to this programme. All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
Fees and Funding
This funding initiative will be available to all private sector companies, their employees and sole traders. As part of this Initiative Midland Border East Skillnet, in partnership with South East Technical University (SETU), will offer participants funding toward the cost of this programme. Subject to eligibility criteria, the fees will be reduced from €2000 per annum to €1250 per annum, with this fee being payable to Midland Border East Skillnet only, once academic entry criteria have been confirmed by SETU.
Eligibility Criteria
• Member Company must be registered and based in the Republic of Ireland
• Member Company must be a member of Midland Border East Skillnet
• Employees attending the series must be resident/living in the Republic of Ireland and must be employed by a Member Company.
• Fee must be paid by member company only (not by the individual attendee unless self-employed).
• Applicants must have completed a FÁS apprenticeship or equivalent*
