Who we are and what we do
Chadwicks Group is Ireland’s leading builders’ merchanting company. Thanks to our unrivalled knowledge and expertise in the construction sector, we have been part of the fabric of everyday life in Ireland for over 200 years, providing building materials to homes, hotels, farms, transport networks and every other form of business throughout the country.
Number of stores and our offerings
Chadwicks Group currently operates 50 stores including Chadwicks, Heiton Steel, The Panelling Centre, Telfords, Daly Bros., Cork Builders Providers, Morgans Timber and Davies in the Republic of Ireland. Chadwicks Group is part of Grafton Group plc.
A few words on the rebrand project
At Chadwicks, we are undergoing a major rebrand and refurbishment program across our branch network. In 2017 we started the program to restructure our brand architecture to create a clear customer proposition with one primary brand, replacing a number of smaller brands. As well as a change in branding, our branches are being upgraded to help us deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Our approach to sustainability
We are committed as a business to reducing our carbon footprint and we are taking a number of steps to make our operations more energy efficient. We have switched all of our lighting across our branch network to LED which has resulted in a 30% reduction in energy used and in June 2019, we partnered with Energia to move all our sites to 100% renewable energy. We are also working hard on our sustainability product offering so we can provide renewable solutions to our customers.
