What We Do
Midland Border East Skillnet is a National, multi sectoral learning network encompassing companies of all sizes in the Midland, Border and East regions. Our key focus is on the needs of member companies, to identify and drive training and upskilling across all sectors, to meet business, people, and performance needs of our members. In particular, we encourage and support the development of training programmes to meet existing and future needs within these sectors to drive Workforce design, People Development and Strategic Innovation and where possible to support those seeking employment to development skills and work placement opportunities within their preferred sector of employment.
There is no cost for companies wishing to join our network, as Midland Border East Skillnet is a multi-sectoral national network – membership is open to all private sector companies throughout Ireland. To join, see the Midland Border East Skillnet Membership Form.
Several other Skillnet Networks participate in the Skillnet Ireland Skills Connect programme. This initiative is designed exclusively for unemployed people and includes free training in skills in demand by companies combined with direct access to employers through meaningful work placements.
