Cultural diversity challenges & opportunities in the Irish agri-food sector Report

The food and drink industry is one of Ireland’s largest employers and has an excellent reputation all around the world. The manufacture of food and drink products is Ireland’s most important indigenous industry with 250,000 employed within the agrifood sector at the start of 2020. Whilst the current business environment for the agrifood sector and wider economy is difficult, this sector and its workforce are deeply resilient and the longer-term growth opportunities largely remain for the sector.
